1. Storage technologies
Cookies are small browser records; localStorage and sessionStorage can also store preferences. Requirements depend on the purpose, not only the technology’s name. Records necessary for a requested feature are separate from optional statistics.
2. Necessary records
__Host-reisno_session (reisno_session in local development) maintains login for up to 7 days with HttpOnly, SameSite=Lax and Secure in production. The localStorage record reisno-analytics-consent-v2 stores your choice, date and notice version for up to 180 days; old or invalid permissions are not used. It exists to honour your choice and is not a visitor analytics identifier. Temporary functional settings and local testing records are not sent to Google as event parameters.
3. Optional Google Analytics
After separate permission, Google may set _ga and _ga_* to measure visits and actions. Our configuration limits these cookies to 180 days without automatic renewal. The exact set depends on Google. The tag does not load before permission, after refusal or on account recovery pages. Cookieless Google requests are not used to bypass refusal. Advertising cookies, Google Signals and advertising personalisation are not authorised by this integration.
4. Managing your choice
The banner provides equally accessible allow and decline actions; ignoring it, scrolling or registering does not grant permission. Cookies reopens the controls. On refusal we disable events and clear accessible _ga cookies for this site. You may also clear browser storage, which removes the saved choice and causes the request to reappear. Blocking necessary session storage may prevent login. Internal summaries of business records do not depend on Google Analytics permission; see the Privacy policy.
