Agree the transit arrangement

Ukraine and Germany do not share a border. The road route, transit countries and crossing depend on the origin and cargo restrictions. Confirm the procedure with the carrier and customs representative rather than assuming that entering the EU automatically completes all formalities.

What to ask the receiving warehouse

Gather receiving requirements before dispatch.

• Confirmed slot, local time and the process for changing it.
• Delivery reference, dispatcher contact and correct gate.
• Packaging, pallet and returnable-packaging requirements.
• Whether unloading is possible for the selected vehicle type.
